When looking at these two models, the most obvious feature that NYC drivers will notice is that both luxury crossovers offer three rows of seating. While both these SUVs can seat multiple passengers comfortably, that is where their similarities end. A closer examination will show that the new 2023 Wagoneer outperforms the Mercedes-Benz GLS in several different areas.

The first place where these two models differ is in their seating. Although both vehicles offer three rows, the Mercedes-Benz GLS can only seat up to seven passengers, six if the second row is installed with captain chairs. The Wagoneer can also seat up to seven passengers, though if the captain chairs are not purchased, it can seat up to eight.

Another place in which these two vehicles diverge is in their engines. While both vehicles offer strong engine options, the Mercedes-Benz GLS base engine is a turbocharged V6, while the Wagoneers is a V8. Comparing the 2023 Wagoneer to the Lincoln Navigator

For years now, the Lincoln Navigator has been a favorite luxury SUV among Jersey City residents. But with the introduction of the 2023 Wagoneer, Jeep is looking to change that. Comparing the 2023 Wagoneer to the Cadillac Escalade

By comparing the Wagoneer to the Escalade Woodbridge and Newark, NJ, residents will discover that both vehicles offer a standard V8 engine. Where these powertrains differ, though, is in their options. Where the Wagoneer comes with multiple powerful V8’s, the Escalade gets a turbocharged diesel V6 option.

Another difference is their trims. The Wagoneer has three options available. Where the Escalade has five, and each trim comes with increasingly more options.
