Its safety features (the anti-lock brakes, traction control, stability controls) gives credence to its tough stance against winter.
Jeep Compass (2007 - 2020)
The major winter-defeating aspect of this compact SUV is in its range of engine options: 2L, 2.2L and 2.4L and its high ground clearance of above 8”.
Acura TL (2003 - 2012)
An Acura sedan with an All-Wheel Drive drivetrain which helps propel power to the tires when road conditions are tougher because of the snow that comes with winter, the Acura TL (2003-2012) turns a torque of 273 lb.-ft via a 3.7L V6 engine which gives it the appropriate amount of traction it needs to beat snow and ice.
Infiniti G35x
G35x by Infiniti, despite being expensive as a used car, comes as an All-Wheel Drive - the right drivetrain to go head to head with winter.
Honda CR-V 2006
Beyond its high ground clearance which is available in any other SUV built like the Honda CR-V 2006, this SUV has enough haul power to tow lots of tons of cargo in winter.
